Sorting your Wardrobe out for the Autumn Months

As summer ends and we look forward to the cooler months of the year, this is the ideal time to pay attention to your wardrobe. Summer clothes need to be put away and the winter woollies make a re-appearance, this is the time to get your wardrobe and winter style sorted out.

The first thing you should do is get everything out of your wardrobe and work out if you have worn it over the last year. If not, you most likely won’t wear it again. Make two piles – the items that are damaged or worn, so will most likely not be any good for anyone else, and those that are in good enough condition to sell or donate to charity.

Once you have done this you can see what is left. Of course, those summer shirts and t-shirts can stay for the autumn months as they work well layered with other items, but the summer things like shorts and flip flops can be put away for next summer.

You will then be able to see what new items you might need and plan a shopping trip – add some key pieces to your winter wardrobe and try to go for something high quality like Superdry Clothes from Louis Boyd so that you can get plenty of wear out of them. The key to having a good capsule winter wardrobe is quality over quantity!
