Think about storage – Storage can be hard to find in student accommodation, so thinking outside the box a bit is necessary. Under bed boxes, wall mounted shelving units, and beds with built in cupboards and desks are all good ways of making storage room.

Lighting – One way you can jazz up your room is with some unique lighting. Fairy lights are a great way to make a room look cosy, and can be draped across a headboard, or around windows. Lamps are another way to make your room a bit more homely.
